Back at Halfmerke Primary School

The Energy Made Greener team returned to Halfmerke Primary School this month, spending time with the Primary 4 pupils.

The class learned about energy, sustainability and the world of renewables — how we heat and power our homes, and how solar panels, batteries and better heating can help to build a greener future. The pupils tried on the safety kit, got hands-on with the tools we use every day and asked plenty of good questions.

Visits like this are a part of the job we really enjoy. It was great to see so much enthusiasm in the room, and we hope a few future engineers were inspired along the way.

Our thanks to the pupils and teachers at Halfmerke Primary School for making us so welcome once again.
