Accurate, compliant heat metering across a live network

EMG Installations Ltd was appointed to deliver a large-scale heat metering upgrade on a residential heat network in Greenock serving more than 600 occupied properties. The programme replaced ageing, obsolete heat meters, improved metering accuracy, supported billing compliance and strengthened communications between individual dwellings and the central monitoring infrastructure.

The works formed part of a wider asset-management strategy to improve the long-term reliability, accuracy and efficiency of the communal heating system, while ensuring residents continued to receive accurate heat consumption data throughout.
